ENGINE: Engine block (if damaged by the failure of an internal component) and all internal parts including the crankshaft, rod and main bearings, cam bearings, expansion (freeze) plugs, connecting rods, engine mounts, torque strut, wrist pins, pistons, piston rings, camshaft, cam tower, lifters, cylinder head (if damaged due to failure of an internal component), values, guides and seats, valve springs, rocker arms (cam followers), pushrods, timing chain housing (cover), timing chain and sprockets, timing belt and pulleys, timing belt tensioner, intake and exhaust manifolds, eccentrick shaft, flex plate, balance shafts, harmonic balancer and retainer bolt, crankshaft pulley, valve covers, oil pan, oil pump and pressure relief valve, engine oil cooler, oil filter adapter/housing, fuel supply pump, water pump, vacuum pump, dipstick and tube, and seals and gaskets.
TURBO/SUPERCHARGED/ENHANCED ENGINES: In addition to the parts listed above, the turbocharger, waste gate controller, intercooler, supercharger, supercharger pulley, bypass valve, injection pump, injectors and injector nozzles.
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: Case (if damaged by the failure of an internal component) and all internal parts including the oil pump, valve body, torque converter, vacuum modulator, governor, main shaft, clutches, bands, drums, gear sets, bearings, bushings, sealing rings, TV cable, solenoids and electronic shift control unit (internal only), transmission mounts, transmission cooler, dipstick and tube, and seals and gaskets.
STANDARD TRANSMISSION: Case (if damaged by the failure of an internal component) and all internal parts including the main shaft, gear sets, shift forts, synchronizers, bearings, bushings, and seals and gaskets.
TRANSFER CASE ON 4X4 VEHICLES: Case (if damaged by the failure of an internal component) and al internal parts, including the main shaft, gear sets, chain and sprockets, bearings, bushings, mounts, electronic and vacuum engagement components, and seals and gaskets.
FRONT WHEEL DRIVE: Final drive housing (if damaged by the failure of an internal component) and all internal parts, including the carrier case, gear sets, chain and sprockets, bearings, bushings, axle shafts, axle hub bearings, propeller shafts, universal joints, CV joints (except damage caused by the failure of a sealing boot), drive shaft support, and seals and gaskets.
REAR WHEEL DRIVE: Drive axle housing (if damaged by the failure of an internal component) and all internal parts, including the carrier case, gear sets, bearings, bushings, limited slip clutch pack, axle shafts, axle hub bearings, propeller shafts, universal joints, drive shaft support, and seals and gaskets.

Lifetime Powertrain Warranty is our commitment to you when you purchase a New Toyota. For as long as you own your Toyota model, if covered components break or fail, there is no customer out-of-pocket fees to cover the repairs.
Does this coverage really last for a lifetime?
Yes. As long as you own the Toyota model, whether that is 5, 10, or 25 years, our Lifetime Powertrain Warranty will cover repairs for covered components.
What does the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty cover?
Your Lifetime Powertrain Warranty covers the internal components of the engine, transmission, and some key components of your axle/drive train assemblies.
Am I required to regularly maintain and service my vehicle? If so, how often?
Yes. It is required that you service your vehicle per the vehicle’s manufacturer’s recommendations within 30 days or 1,000 miles of the specific factory recommended service. You will have a total of 60 days (30 before and 30 after) and 2,000 miles (1,000 before and 1,000 after). Any and all maintenance that influences or impacts covered components MUST be performed within this time frame described.
